Police in Kosovo have successfully taken into custody liridon fetahi, a figure now listed as one of Europe’s most wanted individuals, appearing on the “EU Most Wanted” roster. The arrest occurred today in the Veternik neighborhood of Pristina, following suspicions related to murders that transpired in Denmark. According to information released by Europol, fetahi is also implicated in accusations of murder and aggravated bodily harm, suspected to have been part of a coordinated hitman operation.
He is actively being sought in connection with two distinct murder cases. The first incident occurred in April 2020, when a victim was fatally shot in a public parking area. Subsequently, in November 2020, three individuals were shot, resulting in the deaths of two of them.
Europol’s website indicates that fetahi is believed to be associated with a Danish criminal gang.
