The chairwoman of the Guxo Party within the Deçan region, Rabije Haklaj, has formally announced her permanent departure from all party roles. Alongside the leadership and members of the Deçan branch of the guxo party, she has tendered her resignation. This decision followed a meeting convened on March 8th, where complete consensus was achieved among the Branch Leadership.
Haklaj underscored the significance of this unanimous agreement in her public statement. She conveyed considerable disappointment concerning the party’s position regarding the re-election of President Vjosa Osmani. Haklaj asserted that the stance represented a profound betrayal by the coalition partner.
“The Deçan Branch of the Guxo Party felt both offended and deeply disappointed by this action,” she explained. Haklaj further noted that President Osmani possessed valid reasons to pursue a second term, yet the party failed to offer her support. This lack of backing fueled the decision to step away from the guxo party’s structures.
