The members of the group BTS have been discharged from the army and are returning to concerts, the first of which is being held today in Seoul.

South Korea has implemented strict measures to isolate Seoul’s central district in preparation for BTS’s highly anticipated comeback concert. Authorities are expecting around 260,000 fans to converge on the city’s streets, alongside millions more viewing the performance live via Netflix. The one-hour concert, held in the historically significant Gwanghwamun Square, represents the group’s first release with all seven members after a period exceeding three years.

This marks a crucial step before their upcoming global tour, scheduled to commence next month. Big Hit Music reports that the return album, titled Arirang, achieved remarkable success, selling 3.98 million copies within its initial day. BTS, who debuted in 2013, swiftly transformed into a worldwide phenomenon.

The group remains the most listened-to K-pop artists on Spotify, having previously been honored with an invitation to the White House and collaborating with the United Nations Gen. This first album showcases the continued success of the group and its seven members.
