The municipality of Malisheva signed an agreement to support farmers with agricultural equipment.

The Mayor of Malisheva, Ekrem Kastrati, has announced the signing of a crucial agreement designed to bolster local farmers. This collaborative effort was formalized with Dr. Mohamed Soliman, the director of the Islamic Relief Kosovo organization.

The initiative falls under the umbrella of the sustainable agriculture project in Kosovo, and is generously supported by Islamic Relief Switzerland. The agreement represents a significant step forward for the region’s agricultural sector. Kastrati highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating, “Today, together with the director of Islamic Relief Kosovo, Dr.

Mohamed Soliman, we also signed a cooperation agreement, within the framework of the sustainable agriculture project in Kosovo, supported by Islamic Relief Switzerland.”

He underscored the project’s core objective: to provide substantial subsidies to farmers within the Malisheva municipality. These subsidies will facilitate the acquisition of diverse agricultural equipment. The ultimate aim is to stimulate increased production and foster overall development within the farming community.
