The offense against judges is costly, Pajaziti receives a suspension in Croatia.

Adrion Pajaziti, a key midfielder for Croatian football club Hajduk Split, faces a three-match suspension following a contentious incident during the Croatian Cup quarter-final. The match, which Split ultimately lost 3-2 to Rijeka last week, saw Pajaziti receive a red card in the 21st minute of added time. This dismissal occurred immediately after Gabriel Rukavina’s goal, which dramatically shifted the scoreline against the home team.

The situation escalated during the ensuing celebrations and the general disorder within the stands. According to the official report, Pajaziti grabbed fourth referee Oliver Romic by the arm. Furthermore, he was observed insulting the officiating team, headed by chief referee Patrik Kolaric.

Consequently, the red card automatically applied to Hajduk’s subsequent match against Dinamo Zagreb, despite it being a competitive contest. This suspension highlights the seriousness of the infraction committed by pajaziti during the game against Rijeka. The Croatian authorities have deemed the actions unacceptable, resulting in this disciplinary measure.
