Police officers apprehended suspects attempting to dispose of illicit substances on March 19, 2026, at 12:26 PM (00:10). The incident occurred near a payment location in Gostivar. Officers from the SPB Gostivar’s illegal drug and weapons trading unit detained three individuals: E.E.
(40), residing in Gostivar, B.S. (48), also a resident of Gostivar, and Q.R. (70) from Vranovcë village, close to the city.
During the operation, the officers observed the suspects within a “Volkswagen Bora” passenger car bearing Gostivar registration plates. E.E. was observed discarding packages containing a brown solid and a brown powdered substance.
These packages were subsequently recovered and seized by the police. The individuals were taken into custody at the local police station. In collaboration with the public prosecutor, they are scheduled to appear before the court today for further legal proceedings.
The police’s actions demonstrate a continued effort to combat drug trafficking within the Gostivar region.
