The suspect, apprehended for providing false testimony as a cooperator in the “Brezovica” case, stated, “Only you and the children saw me, I wouldn’t have been caught.”

The Basic State Prosecution in Ferizaj, via its Serious Crimes Department, has issued a public announcement. Following a directive from the State Prosecutor, a 48-hour preventative detention has been ordered for the suspect, R.K., residing in the Skenderaj Municipality. This action stems from suspicions surrounding multiple criminal offenses.

Specifically, R.K. is accused of “Intimidation during criminal proceedings” and “Unauthorized possession, control, or ownership of weapons.” The incident occurred on March 21, 2026, at the “Mero” restaurant in Uglar village – Fushë Kosovë Municipality. During a celebration, the suspect allegedly threatened the injured party present.

His statement, “only you are a father if you didn’t let him die in this place,” indicates an intent to intimidate the victim, classifying him as a cooperating witness within the ongoing “Brezovica” case. The state intends to gather further evidence related to these serious allegations. The detention is a standard procedure in this ongoing investigation.
