The upcoming conclusion of the trial in The Hague is imminent. German Ambassador Rainer Rudolph, during an interview on RTK, addressed the ongoing proceedings involving former commanders of the UÇK. He emphasized that the court’s operations adhere to Kosovar legal standards and are diligently progressing through the established judicial process.
The diplomat stressed the importance of respecting the Court’s ultimate determination. He urged all involved parties to acknowledge the verdict, irrespective of whether it results in a conviction or a finding of innocence. “The Special Chambers represent unique institutions functioning under Kosovar legislation,” Rudolph explained.
“We naturally monitor these procedures, and I request that all parties accept the judgment of this impartial court.”
