The municipality of Skopje has confirmed that its drinking water is safe for consumption. Recent analysis, conducted by the Sector for Sanitary Control, utilized a comprehensive approach to ensure water quality. Between March 9th and 13th, a total of 192 samples were collected from across the city.
These samples underwent both physical-chemical and microbiological testing. The testing involved 192 samples of drinking water taken from 48 different measuring countries within Skopje. Following the investigations, the results demonstrated that all water samples met the stringent requirements outlined in the Regulation for requirements for safety and quality of drinking water (Official Gazette of the RSM, No.183/18).
