The troubling situation encompassed not only the child’s suffering at the hands of their mother but also instances of abuse perpetrated by the child’s father. The Basic State Prosecution in Pejë has taken immediate action, launching distinct criminal investigations into both parents for the offense of “domestic violence.” “Separate criminal cases have been initiated for both parents for the crime of ‘domestic violence.’ ” stated the spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution in Pejë, Shk. The State Prosecutor, in collaboration with the Kosovo Police, is actively coordinating and implementing all necessary procedures to address this serious situation.
