Tripunovski: Farmers are shaping the future policies within the agricultural sector.

Cvetan Tripunovski, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, recently undertook a visit to the communities of Trstenik and Rosoman. During this visit, he engaged in direct conversations with local residents, addressing their specific difficulties, requirements, and proposed solutions. The primary objective of these interactions was to gather the opinions, concepts, and recommendations of the farmers themselves.

This was achieved through open communication, alongside a discussion of existing policies and prospective strategies for agricultural advancement. Tripunovski highlighted the value of exchanging knowledge, ideas, and suggestions to inform the Ministry’s subsequent actions. He asserted that this collaborative process would facilitate the development of the next steps, ensuring they are firmly grounded in the experiences and insights of the farmers.

Specifically, the Municipality of Rosoman was identified as a significant agricultural area, encompassing over 3,000 hectares of cultivated land and supporting more than 2,500 farmers seeking agricultural assistance. This substantial figure underscores Rosoman’s considerable potential. The minister’s focus remains on supporting farmers and shaping the future of agriculture.
