The Kosovo Police have reported the apprehension of two suspects. These individuals are thought to be responsible for the incident involving the throwing of a hand grenade into the garden of a residence in Vushtri on February 27th. Following extensive inquiries aimed at resolving related criminal offenses, the Sector Regional Investigation team successfully identified and detained two people suspected of committing the act of jeopardizing public safety and unlawful weapon possession.
The arrest of these two individuals stemmed from a justifiable basis of suspicion and concrete evidence. Specifically, investigators determined that the suspects launched an explosive device – a hand grenade – into the yard of the Vushtri house on February 27th, 2026. This action resulted solely in property damage, with no injuries or further harm incurred.
After undergoing questioning, the two male suspects, aged 24 and 25 years old, were taken into custody. The investigation concluded with the successful arrest of the two individuals.
