The Kosovo Police has provided updated information concerning the significant event that transpired in the village of Majac, within the Podujevë municipality. Recent reports, emerging around 03:35 this morning, indicate that one of the initially wounded individuals succumbed to their injuries at the Kosovë Clinical University Center. This fatality was officially verified by the overseeing medical professional.
The lead prosecutor from the Department of Serious Crimes has directed that the deceased’s remains be transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute for a thorough examination. Consequently, the case has been formally upgraded to “Aggravated Murder” and “Unlawful Possession of Weapons with Intent to Control or Possess.”
The police have stressed that the incident unfolded on March 22nd, around 18:40. Units responded to a report indicating an individual within a vehicle was unresponsive.
