Police in Kosovo made a significant discovery yesterday, seizing a substantial amount of weaponry in the Varage village of Zubin Potok. The event unfolded around 11:55 AM during a routine patrol and inspection of a vacant house. Officers were then able to find and confiscate a dangerous AK-47 automatic weapon.
Alongside the firearm, five loaded magazines were recovered, each containing 68 rounds. Furthermore, the investigation uncovered two camouflage uniforms and various weapons cleaning equipment at the location. The situation highlighted the seriousness of the discovery.
Adding to the recovered items, an explosive device, a hand grenade, was also found. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit promptly responded and safely removed the grenade from the house. The prosecutor has been informed of the case, and a full investigation is currently underway.
Authorities are diligently pursuing all leads related to this incident involving the found weaponry. The ongoing investigation aims to determine the origin and intended use of the recovered items.
