Zelensky indicated that the American side has shown a willingness to continue working within established negotiation frameworks, aiming to conclude Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine.
The President emphasized the need to restart discussions following a period of pause. He affirmed that the Ukrainian team – comprised of political figures involved in the negotiations – is already traveling and awaiting a meeting this Saturday in the United States. Zelensky detailed that he recently engaged in thorough discussions with negotiator Rustem Umierov, Kyrylo Budanov, and Davyd Arakhamia.
Serhii Kyslytsia was also present during these deliberations. The Ukrainian leadership is focused on ensuring the negotiations achieve meaningful progress and ultimately bring an end to the conflict.
