The Sindikata and private sector protested on May 1, and the government took action and the 13th was cancelled

In Pristina, Kosovo’s Privat Sector Directorate (FSPTSK) is currently engaged in discussions with private sector representatives. According to Jusuf Azemi, the director of the FSPTSK, the primary focus of these discussions centers on addressing debts accumulated by the previous regime to both the public and private sectors. Azemi stated that the ongoing conversations aim to resolve outstanding financial obligations stemming from the prior administration.

The discussions involve representatives from the private sector, who are perceived to retain influences from the former government. The Directorate’s efforts are directed toward establishing a clear plan for the payment of these debts, impacting both public and private entities within Kosovo.
