Commander Thomas Schulte-Borghoff, commander of the General Brigade, announced that the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) will be deployed in Kosovo in 2025. The deployment ceremony took place in Prishtina, attended by NATO Force Commander Sven Lange. The event was also attended by the Minister of Mbrojtjes, the President of the Assembly, the President of the Parliament, the President of the Supreme Court, and the President of the Supreme Electoral Court.
The ceremony marked a key step in maintaining stability within the region. KFOR continues to operate under a mandate to ensure security and oversee the implementation of the Brussels Agreement. Discussions regarding the ongoing mission and future operations were part of the proceedings.
