Haxhiu Decrees Proclamation of Six Key Laws Approved by Parliament

Prishtina, Kosovo – Deputy President Albulena Haxhiu has issued decrees proclaiming the enactment of six significant laws approved by the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, according to a statement released by the Office of the President. The newly enacted laws are designed to stimulate economic growth and address key infrastructural and developmental needs within the country. Specifically, the legislation facilitates investments in clean energy initiatives, aims to enhance energy efficiency across public buildings, and prioritizes improvements to the nation’s road infrastructure.

Furthermore, the laws include provisions for the treatment of raw water sources. Haxhiu highlighted the importance of strengthening regional cooperation and expanding educational opportunities for Kosovar youth. The laws are intended to create increased access to higher education within the Western Balkans region.

“These laws open the way for investments in clean energy, in increasing efficiency in public buildings, in improving road infrastructure and in treating raw water,” Haxhiu emphasized. She stated that the Republic of Kosovo continues to deepen partnerships with international financial institutions and with the Balkan region.
