Macedonia invites parliamentarians to vote in favor of sending FSK troops to Gaza

Kosovo Parliament to Vote on Gaza Deployment of KSF

Pristina – The Ministry of Defense has invited Kosovo parliamentarians to vote in favor of authorizing the sending of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) as part of an international mission to Gaza. The move follows a recent government decision to request parliamentary approval for the KSF’s deployment abroad. Minister of Defense, Ejup Macedonci, stated that the proposed action aims to build trust with international allies.

“On March 30th, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo approved a proposal-decision requesting the Assembly to authorize the KSF’s deployment as part of an international stabilization force in Gaza,” Macedonci announced. The Ministry of Defense cited objectives and strategic planning as the basis for this request. Specifically, the government’s 197th session approved the decision to send the KSF internationally, as part of an international stabilization force in Gaza.

Parliamentarians are expected to vote on the measure, with the outcome anticipated to significantly impact Kosovo’s relationship with its international partners. The decision reflects a strategic effort to bolster alliances through participation in global security operations. —

  1. This deployment raises serious questions about the potential risks and implications for Kosovo’s involvement in the ongoing conflict.
