Kosovo Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Asset Misuse Case
The Kosovo Police has issued a request for citizens to assist in the identification of an individual linked to a criminal investigation. The request, released by the Southern Police Station’s Investigation Sector with prosecutor approval, centers on a case of “misuse of foreign assets.”
The investigation is focused on an individual captured in photographic and video evidence following an incident on January 31, 2026, in “Mehë Uka” square, South Mitrovica. The suspect is currently sought in connection with the criminal offense.
The police are appealing to the public for information that could aid in identifying the person depicted in the visual materials. Individuals with knowledge regarding the individual’s identity are encouraged to come forward. “We are requesting cooperation from citizens to provide information that would help identify the person seen in the photograph and video sequence,” stated a release from the Southern Police Station.
