Man Found Unresponsive at Community Center in Northern Kosovo
Suhareka, Kosovo – A 48-year-old man, identified as B.H., was found unresponsive at the Community Center for Family Medicine (QKMF) near Mushtisht on Tuesday. Police confirmed the incident and stated that the death is suspected to be related to a blockage of the respiratory airways caused by food. Shaqir Bytyqi, the Police Spokesperson for the Pristina Region, reported that the individual was admitted to the QKMF at 12:50.
According to the guardian doctor, Mr. H. experienced a sudden deterioration in his condition while at home, leading to loss of consciousness.
Relatives immediately attempted to administer first aid before arranging for urgent transport to the medical center. Initial investigations suggest the cause of death stemmed from a blockage of the respiratory system due to ingested material. “The guardian doctor suspects the death resulted from the blockage of the respiratory airways by food,” Bytyqi stated.
