Deda Argues Alternative Presidential Candidate Could Have Been Confronted in January
Prishtina – Political analyst Ilir Deda has suggested that the Speaker position recently offered by VV (Visnjë Kombëtar) could have been extended to the People’s Democratic Party (PDK) in January or February, potentially leading to a direct confrontation regarding Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s leadership. Deda contends that this alternative approach could have significantly altered the political landscape. He stated, “VV’s Speaker position could have been offered to PDK in January or February, and they could have been confronted about the president/woman.”
However, Deda emphasized the crucial role of Kosovo’s citizenry in resolving the situation.
“This depends primarily on the citizens of this country because normal societies hold politicians accountable and punish them with their vote,” he explained. He further questioned whether sufficient consultation occurred regarding the presidential elections. The discussion centers around the potential for a different approach to addressing the current political challenges within Kosovo.
