PDK Leader Arian Tahiri Firm on Stance Regarding Presidential Dispute
Kosovar Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) leader Arian Tahiri addressed recent party meetings in a direct connection on Debat Plus. Tahiri confirmed that the PDK’s Steering Council held a meeting today, marking over four months since its last gathering. He also noted that Leadership meetings had been regularly held within the preceding two weeks.
Speaking on the ongoing dispute concerning the President’s election, Tahiri reiterated the PDK’s firm position. He stated unequivocally that the party will not engage in further communication with Prime Minister Albin Kurti regarding the matter. “Our position is clear that we will not cooperate and will not communicate further with Albin Kurti regarding the issue of the President,” Tahiri asserted.
He emphasized that the process is now “closed,” adding that the PDK will not “discuss this further” under any circumstances. The statement reflects a continued rejection of dialogue with Kurti over the contested presidential election.
