Police Seize Drug Laboratory in Skopje
Skopje, North Macedonia – On April 20, 2026, police officers from the Skopje Serious Crime Brigade (SPB) apprehended V.V. (50), a resident of Skopje, in the Aerodrom Airport Municipality area. Following a preliminary judicial order, a drug laboratory was seized during a raid at his residence.
The operation resulted in the discovery and confiscation of a significant quantity of illicit substances and equipment. Forty-one vases containing cannabis plants, along with powder substance, marijuana, and capsules, were seized. Additionally, the authorities recovered reflectors and other equipment commonly used for cultivating plants.
Containers and cultivation equipment were also included in the seized items. “On April 20, 2026, in Skopje, in the territory of the Aerodrom Airport Municipality, police officers from the Skopje SPB apprehended V.V. (50) from Skopje,” stated a police statement.
The investigation is ongoing. This seizure underscores continued efforts by law enforcement to combat drug-related activities within the Skopje region.
