Kosovo Government Holds Meeting, Approves Key Decisions
Kosovo’s current government convened for its 12th meeting, conducted electronically, to address critical issues across public finances, healthcare, and institutional coordination. The meeting resulted in the approval of several key decisions impacting the nation’s operations. A primary focus of the session was the Quarterly Budget Report for 2026, which was formally adopted by the executive.
Additionally, the Ministry of Finance’s request to finalize and revise Decision No. 04/09 of 10.04.2026 – pertaining to the reallocation of budgetary funds to newly established ministries – received approval. This decision is central to optimizing resource distribution.
The government also allocated 45,000 euros to support the Vienna Economic Forum, a strategic initiative designed to promote the Republic of Kosovo on an international stage. Within the healthcare sector, a decision was made to appoint the Board of Directors for the Kosovar Clinical and University Hospital Service. These decisions, stemming from the government meeting, represent important steps in managing public finances and ensuring the continued operation of key institutions.
