Ministry of Interior Implements New Vehicle Registration Procedures
The Ministry of Interior has initiated a revised process for vehicle registration, focusing on enhanced accuracy and improved communication with the public. The changes are designed to bolster security and minimize errors within the registration system. Under the new protocol, following a vehicle owner’s submission of their phone number and email address at an MPB booth during the registration process, a verification code is immediately sent to both their mobile phone and email address.
This serves as a confirmation that the provided contact information belongs to the vehicle owner. “This system ensures that all data entered is validated directly by the individual,” explained a representative from the Ministry. “Every vehicle owner must personally confirm their contacts before the registration process is finalized.”
The initiative is intended to streamline the process and mitigate potential issues within the “Safe City” sanctions delivery system.
The updated procedures emphasize a direct, verifiable connection between vehicle owners and the Ministry’s communication channels. Officials state the goal is to prevent errors in the delivery of sanctions. The changes apply to all vehicle registrations conducted at inspection stations and administrative services.
