Weather Update: Localized Showers and Wind Expected Today
Today will bring a changeable weather pattern across the region, according to the Meteorological and Hydrological Institute of the Republic of North Macedonia (DPHM). The day will begin with partly cloudy skies and localized showers, with these showers expected to diminish by the late afternoon. Moderate winds will be present throughout the day, occasionally gusting to over 60 kilometers per hour from the north.
These stronger northerly winds are anticipated in certain valley areas. Temperatures will fluctuate significantly. The minimum temperature is forecast to range from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum will reach between 13 and 20 degrees Celsius.
Skopje is expected to experience partly cloudy conditions with light local rain in the morning, followed by a daily maximum of 19 degrees Celsius. Looking ahead, Monday morning will feature clear and cold conditions, with temperatures falling below zero in some areas. Sunny weather is predicted for the daytime.
Further forecasts indicate a shift in weather patterns beginning Tuesday. The DPHM advises residents to be aware of the potential for strong north winds and localized showers.
