Elephant Rampage Causes Fatalities and Damage Near Temple in Kerala
Angamaly, Kerala – On Friday, a captive elephant caused significant damage and resulted in one fatality near a temple in Kidangoor. According to reports, the animal became violent, attacking several individuals in the vicinity. The animal overturned a car multiple times, leading to its complete destruction. Additionally, several parked motorcycles sustained damage. The incident resulted in the death of a 40-year-old truck driver and the injury of his mahout.
Forest officials responded to the situation and successfully sedated the elephant after approximately three hours of disruption.
