Motorcycle Accident Reported in Peja
A motorcycle accident occurred in Peja on Sunday evening, prompting medical response and transport of injured individuals. The incident took place at approximately 5:10 PM on ‘Perandori Justinian’ street. According to information released by the Kosovo Police, two people sustained bodily injuries as a result of the motorcycle accident.
Both individuals were immediately transported to the Peja Regional Hospital for initial medical treatment. One of the injured parties was subsequently transferred to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) due to the severity of their injuries. Driton Rugova, spokesperson for the Kosovo Police’s Peja region, confirmed the event to Gazeta Express.
“Police were notified of the motorcycle accident on ‘Perandori Justinian’ street at approximately 5:10 PM,” Rugova stated. “As a result, two individuals sustained injuries and were taken to the Peja Regional Hospital. One was then transferred to QKUK-Prishtina for further care.”
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation.
