A criminal complaint has been filed against the parents of a minor who assaulted a girl in Gjorçe Petrov.

Parents Face Criminal Charges Following Assault on Teenager in Gjorçe Petrov

The Public Prosecution Office (MPB) of Skopje has filed criminal charges against the parents of individuals involved in a physical assault of a 13-year-old girl in Gjorçe Petrov. The move follows an investigation by the Internal Affairs Unit of the SPB Skopje, which has initiated six criminal charges against the parents – E.A., A.M., E.S., R.S., R.G., S.A., V.I., and GJ.I., as well as A.T. and T.T.

– under Article 201 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, concerning negligence and abuse of a child. The charges stem from an incident where minors, implicated in the assault under Article 386 of the Criminal Code, physically attacked the girl in Gjorçe Petrov. Previously, the MPB had filed criminal charges against four of the minors for the same offense.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details regarding the specific circumstances of the assault are pending. Authorities are working to determine the extent of parental responsibility in this case. This development follows earlier reports regarding the incident involving students from Mirce Acev Elementary School.
