Kosovan Activist Adelina Tërshani Joins Vetëvendosje Movement
The Vetëvendosje Movement (VETËVENDOSJE!) has announced the addition of Kosovan feminist activist, Adelina Tërshani, to its ranks. Chairman Albin Kurti confirmed the move in a Facebook post, stating that Tërshani will also be contesting a seat in parliament. Kurti highlighted Tërshani’s significant contributions, noting her decade-long experience advocating for the rights of women, youth, and marginalized communities.
The announcement emphasized her background as a well-known feminist activist and author, alongside her involvement in practical community work and public policy research. “We are pleased to announce the joining of Adelina Tërshani with the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, who will also be a candidate for parliament in the upcoming legislature,” Kurti stated.
Tërshani’s arrival strengthens the Vetëvendosje Movement’s platform, which focuses on social justice and equality. The party anticipates her expertise will contribute to ongoing efforts to advance these causes within Kosovo.
