A 56-year-old man from Kocani died following a traffic accident that occurred yesterday near the village of Ratavicë. According to reports from the Shtip Police, the incident involved two vehicles. At approximately 21:28 on May 11th, police were alerted to a serious accident on the regional road near Ratavicë, specifically in the area known as “Globica.” A passenger vehicle, a “Yugo” with plates from Probishtip, driven by G.S.
(56) of Kocani, was involved in a collision with a “Peugeot” vehicle, also driven by A.M. (29) and registered in Kocani. The driver of the “Yugo,” G.S., sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Shtip Clinical Hospital.
Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. A medical professional confirmed his death. Additionally, passengers within the “Peugeot” sustained injuries.
