Pope Leo XIV tests Ferraris’ electric future with the new Luce supercar

Ferrari Chairman John Elkann and senior company executives recently met with the pope to unveil a new vehicle, the Luce, during a ceremony held at the Vatican. During the meeting, the pope inspected the car in detail, taking a seat in the driver’s area and listening to explanations regarding the vehicle’s controls and handling from Ferrari test pilot Raffaele De Simone. Reports indicated that images from the Vatican meeting showed the pope interacting with a Ferrari steering wheel and posing with engineers and technical staff from the Italian manufacturer.

Ferrari has specified that the Luce is powered by four electric motors, with one motor dedicated to each wheel. Collectively, these motors deliver an output of up to 1,050 horsepower. Furthermore, the company estimates that the vehicle possesses a driving range of 530 kilometers and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

The design process for the Luce involved collaboration with LoveFrom, the creative agency established by [Agency Founder Name]. The unveiling marks a notable appearance of the latest model in the company’s portfolio, witnessed by the pope.
