Acting Minister for Communities and Return, Nenad Rashiq, has reported informing the diplomatic corps in Kosovo regarding the perceived pressure faced by Serbs who do not align with the Serb List. Speaking on “Përballje Podcast” via Telegrafi.com, Rashiq detailed that following reports of job dismissals and general pressure on Serb citizens, even originating from within his own political party, he submitted detailed information to the diplomatic missions stationed in Kosovo. Rashiq stated that he notified the embassies about the conditions on the ground, specifically citing what he described as repression against citizens, job losses, and political pressure occurring during the election campaign.
“I informed the diplomatic corps about all of this. I wrote two pages to inform them as accurately as possible about what is happening,” Rashiq noted on Telegrafi. In his communication addressed to the diplomats, Rashiq provided a comprehensive account of the situation.
The core of his message concerned the systemic pressure being exerted on segments of the Serb community. He emphasized the need for international awareness regarding these internal political and economic pressures impacting Serb residents in the region. His actions, according to Rashiq, were aimed at ensuring that the diplomatic community was fully informed about the nature and scope of the difficulties faced by those who do not support the ruling political entity.
