Oil prices rise, gasoline falls

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation (MINT) has released the maximum allowable prices for petroleum derivatives effective June 5, 2026. Under the new directive, minor adjustments were made across key fuel types. Specifically, the price of gasoline saw an increase of one cent, while the price of diesel fuel decreased by one cent.

The price for gas remained unchanged. As of the implementation date, the established prices are as follows: gasoline is set at 1.52 euros per liter, diesel is priced at 1.42 euros per liter, and gas remains at 0.71 euros per liter. These revised prices will take effect at 10:00 and will remain valid for a 24-hour period.

The announcement provides consumers and businesses with updated guidelines regarding the cost of essential fuels. The Ministry’s decision reflects the latest regulatory adjustments to the market rates for these petroleum derivatives.
