Oil price rises

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation (MINT) has officially published the maximum allowed retail prices for various oil derivatives, effective for June 6, 2026. The newly established price structure details adjustments for gasoline, diesel, and other related fuels. According to the MINT announcement, the current price for oil stands at 1.54 euros per liter.

This represents a slight increase of two cents compared to the price recorded on the previous Friday. In contrast, the price for gasoline has remained stable, holding steady at 1.42 euros per liter. A notable change was observed in the diesel segment.

The price for gas has decreased by two cents, settling at 0.69 euros per liter, down from 0.71 euros per liter recorded the day before. These revised prices are scheduled to take effect at 10:00 AM on the specified date and will remain valid for a 24-hour period. The Ministry’s decision provides consumers with the updated benchmarks for the cost of fuel, affecting the overall price structure for vehicle owners.
