Clash in Ohër, weapons and ammunition seized – one person detained

The Ministry of Interior reported that on June 17, 2026, at approximately 12:00 PM, police officers from the Criminal Police apprehended an individual identified as D.A., aged 37, in Ohri. This action followed a raid conducted at the individual’s residence, which was executed under a court order. During the operation, authorities discovered and confiscated several items deemed to be illegally possessed.

The seized materials included a revolver, two rifles, three hand grenades, 22 cartridges of various calibers, and two nylon bags containing gunpowder. According to the Ministry of Interior, following the thorough documentation of the incident, a criminal complaint will be filed against D.A. The charges will be based on Article 396 of the Penal Code, which pertains to the criminal act of “unauthorized production, possession, trafficking, and trade of weapons or explosive materials.”

The local police were involved in the apprehension, ensuring that the seizure and subsequent legal proceedings adhered to established protocols.

The Ministry confirmed that the necessary steps are being taken to process the evidence and initiate the formal charges against the 37-year-old individual.
