The Shtima Municipality has initiated its annual harvest-sowing campaign, accompanied by a site visit from municipal authorities to assess the progress and condition of agricultural crops. Bajram Gashi, Head of the Commission, confirmed that monitoring of field activities will remain continuous. “Our objective is to ensure a successful and safe harvest-sowing campaign, aiming for minimal losses and zero accidents,” Gashi stated.
He added that monitoring efforts will persist until the campaign is fully completed, and that residents will receive regular updates on the ground developments. The municipality reported that the harvest-sowing campaign is progressing according to the established schedule. To date, the harvest efforts have covered 279 hectares of wheat, alongside the harvesting of 60 acres of alder.
The continued monitoring underscores the municipality’s commitment to overseeing the entire agricultural cycle, from the harvest to the subsequent sowing phases. Authorities emphasized that rigorous oversight is in place to manage the logistics and safety aspects associated with the large-scale farming operations. The consistent monitoring is designed to mitigate risks and ensure that the transition between the harvest and the next sowing cycle is managed efficiently, thereby securing a productive outcome for the agricultural sector.
