Hamza gathers PDK deputies: Kosovo needs institutions, not a power that stalls processes

The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bedri Hamza, convened a meeting with elected members of the pdk to address the current political climate within the country. Central to the discussions was the urgent requirement to establish new governmental institutions without further delay. A statement released by the pdk following the gathering indicated that the process of constituting the Assembly and forming necessary state bodies must be concluded promptly.

During the meeting, the pdk expressed significant concern regarding the ongoing political deadlock. The party accused the ruling coalition of perpetuating an institutional blockade. According to the statement, the continuous stalling of this crucial process—following a prolonged period of political instability and snap elections—is exacerbating the existing political crisis.

Furthermore, the pdk argued that these delays have tangible negative consequences for the nation. Specifically, the party highlighted that the stagnation hinders necessary economic development and ultimately compromises the best interests of both the citizenry and the state apparatus. Elected deputies from the pdk reiterated their stance, emphasizing that the swift establishment of functional governance structures is paramount for Kosovo’s stability and future progress.

The focus remains on overcoming the current impasse to ensure the continuity and proper functioning of all state institutions.
