The Basic Court in Pristina has sentenced Skender Krasniqi to a total of 24 years in prison. The conviction relates to the murder of an individual identified as F.Z., an incident that occurred in the village of Zllakuqan in Lipjan in August 2024. A spokesperson for the Basic Court confirmed the ruling to Telegrafi.

The judicial panel issued a cumulative sentence based on multiple charges. For the primary charge of murder, the court reclassified the original accusation from “Aggravated Murder” to “Murder,” resulting in a sentence of 22 years in prison. Additionally, Krasniqi received a sentence of 2 years and 6 months for the charge of unauthorized possession, control, or keeping of weapons.

These two penalties combine to total the 24 years served in prison. According to the indictment presented to the court, the altercation took place on August 7, 2024. The dispute reportedly originated from a disagreement between the two men concerning communications exchanged via the social networking platform, TikTok.
