AKP makes new decisions for cooperative enterprises, 90 assets are divested

The Board of Directors of the Kosovo Privatization Agency (AKP) convened a regular meeting on August 27, 2026, to deliberate on various matters concerning the administration, sale, and liquidation of joint-stock companies. During the session, a primary focus was placed on the properties of joint-stock companies situated outside the territorial boundaries of Kosovo and the associated legal disputes. Following thorough discussion, the board reached decisions to expand international cooperation in managing these assets.

This expansion will be executed in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strengthening diplomatic channels with the countries where these assets are located. Furthermore, the akp reviewed the non-core assets belonging to NSh “Trepça.” These assets remain under the direct management of the Agency, as stipulated by the governing Law for “Trepça” ShA. The meeting also addressed internal regulatory matters.

The board formally approved an Amendment to the Regulation for Enterprises under Direct Administration. This specific approval concerned NSh “Inex Sharr Pllanina,” located in Brezovicë. In addition to approving this regulatory change, the board also finalized appointments for seven key roles within the agency’s purview.

Overall, the decisions made during this meeting underscore the agency’s ongoing efforts to streamline the management and disposition of state-related assets, both domestically and internationally.
