Nagavci Comments on Presidential Transition: “Two Games, Two Figures of Institutions”
Kosovo’s Vetëvendosje Party parliamentary group leader, Arbërie Nagavci, described the handover-acceptance of duties from Vjosa Osmani to Albulena Haxhiu as a symbolic ceremony. Haxhiu will serve as acting president until the next presidential election. Nagavci stated that the transition from one woman to another reflects the maturity of Kosovo’s democracy.
She referred to both Osmani and Haxhiu as “two figures of institutions.”
The ceremony involved the formal transfer of presidential duties from Osmani to Haxhiu, who will assume the role of acting president. The event highlighted the significance of the state’s transition.
