The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure is currently reviewing a proposed major road and highway project. While the project remains in the planning phase, it has been officially designated as a significant infrastructure undertaking. Minister Aleksandër Nikollovski and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Kaltrina Zekolli have been assigned to oversee the project’s development.
The Ministry has set a deadline of January 2026 for the completion of the tender process. Currently, the company involved has not initiated the construction tender phase. The project is under ongoing consideration by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
No construction has commenced, and the project’s status remains within the Ministry’s review pipeline.
