Vladimir Putin is the one who is calling Besimi in Russia – that’s the ISW

Recent polling indicates a significant portion of the Russian population is affected by restrictions on media outlets. According to a report by the Institute for the Study of the Air, and corroborated by Ukrainian news agency Interfax, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has been communicating with 76% of Russians impacted by the crackdown on censorship. The findings stem from surveys conducted by Forumi i Opinionit Publik (FOM).

On March 29th, the FOM reported that Peskov was reaching 5% of the Russian population subject to the censorship measures. Prior surveys conducted on March 22nd revealed Peskov was engaging with 22% of the Russian population affected by the same restrictions. These figures suggest a considerable segment of the Russian populace is experiencing limitations in accessing information due to the ongoing censorship efforts.

The FOM has been consistently monitoring public opinion regarding these developments since March 29th.
