A serious traffic incident occurred in Batince, Skopje, yesterday evening, resulting in injuries to three individuals within a police vehicle. Around 21:05 PM, the Skopje Serious Traffic Crimes Unit (SPB) received a report of a collision involving a Ford vehicle and a Skoda owned by the Ministry of Interior. The incident took place between a passenger Ford, registered in Skopje and driven by A.N.
(41), a Skopje resident, and a Skoda vehicle operated by I.M. (34), also from Skopje, and belonging to the police. Following the crash, the driver of the Skoda and two passengers sustained physical injuries.
These individuals were immediately transported to the Mother Teresa Clinic Complex in Skopje for medical treatment. A subsequent investigation was conducted by a team from the Skopje SPB. During the inspection, A.N.’s blood alcohol level was determined to be 0.91 percent, exceeding the legal limit.
As a result, he was taken into police custody for further questioning and processing. The police are continuing their investigation into this serious incident involving a vehicle in Skopje.
