Man Found Lifeless in Podujevë, Kosovo
Podujevë, Kosovo – On Monday at approximately 11:47 AM, police responded to a report and discovered a man deceased at a location in Podujevë. The incident was reported to and investigated by the Kosovo Police, who confirmed the victim’s death at the scene. Following initial assessment by a guardian doctor, authorities proceeded with the necessary protocols.
At the direction of the guardian prosecutor, the lifeless body was transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute (IML) for a comprehensive autopsy. The investigation is currently ongoing. The Kosovo Police released a statement detailing the event: “Podujevë / 05.05.2026 – 11:47.
A male victim was found lifeless. The victim’s death was confirmed by the guardian doctor at the scene. Following a decision by the guardian prosecutor, the lifeless body of the victim was sent to IML for autopsy.”
Further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the death are expected to emerge following the completion of the autopsy by the IML.
