The Kosovo Police are investigating the death of a Kosovar man found in his apartment in the north of Mitrovica. The incident occurred between April 18th and 23rd, 2025, at approximately 22:38, according to a 24-hour report released by the police. Responding units were dispatched to the scene, where a medical team confirmed the person was deceased.

The victim, an uninjured male Kosovar, was discovered in his apartment. Following the direction of the prosecutor, the body was transported to the Institute for Forensic Medicine (IML) for an autopsy. The purpose of the examination is to determine the cause of death.

Following the order of the prosecutor, the body was sent to the IML for autopsy. The case is under investigation,” the report stated. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released as they become available.
