Man Arrested Following Serious London Collision
A police chase in London concluded with a significant accident on Monday morning after a driver collided with multiple parked vehicles. The incident occurred around 01:55 GMT, with footage purportedly showing a vehicle losing control and striking several cars along the road. Metropolitan Police officers initiated a pursuit after observing the driver operating erratically.
Despite attempts to stop the vehicle, the driver failed to comply and continued driving. Following a subsequent collision, the driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by police. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.
Police also seized a quantity of Class A drugs from the vehicle. Residents reported being awakened by a loud noise and discovered several cars damaged as a result of the incident. The driver is currently in police custody and facing charges related to driving under the influence and evading police.
