Prishtina, Kosovo – Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has confirmed ongoing discussions with former President Vjosa Osmani, signaling a potential shift in the party’s political strategy. Speaking on Debat Plus, Abdixhiku indicated the LDK is exploring a wider alliance within the right-wing political spectrum. Abdixhiku emphasized the need for unity within the LDK, stating that political differences should be overcome to achieve broader objectives.

He called for the resolution of past disagreements and viewpoints, advocating for a more cohesive approach. “We must close all the issues we have had in the past, the differences, the small viewpoints,” Abdixhiku stated. The LDK leader asserted a desire for “no more fighting” and urged a “calm down, relax, we are joining” strategy.

He expressed confidence that this alliance is “unwavering ‘for all those who feel nationalist.’” Abdixhiku stressed the importance of collective action, stating, “There is nothing that can stop it.”
