The Basic State Prosecution in Peja is undertaking a detailed examination concerning allegations of vote manipulation during the December 28, 2025 elections. Numerous individuals have been implicated in the situation, and authorities anticipate a substantial increase in the number involved. Prosecution representative, Shkodran Nikçi, verified to Telegrafin that ninety criminal charges have been formally accepted against forty-nine people.

Further investigation suggests a projected total of thirty-one criminal complaints will be filed against approximately two hundred individuals. These individuals are primarily election supervisors and commissioners within the Peja municipality. “The Basic State Prosecution in Peja, specifically for the Peja municipality, has currently accepted nine criminal complaints against forty-nine people,” Nikçi explained.

“Moreover, it is anticipated that a total of thirty-one criminal complaints will be accepted against approximately two hundred people for this municipality.”
